Lesson 002 - Custom Boot Screen

  • It’s important to mention that Metabolix/HackBGRT are not commonly used tools and might not be suitable for most students, It may be used for more advanced students who are interested in the topic of BIOS modification.
  • Also, before using these tools on a computer, ensure that you have the computer’s owner’s permission and understand the risks involved in modifying the BIOS, as it can cause the computer to become unbootable if not done correctly.
    • This means that you might lose everything on your windows drive (C:) and need to reinstall windows and all the applications from the first lesson.

Objective: Students will be able to understand the purpose and basic functionality of Metabolix/HackBGRT.

Instructions: Please read the Custom Boot Screen Guide and submit a photo of your new boot screen.
